We will hit a bucket of balls (or more) on this beautiful bridge-view range. The 2 tiers are well lit for evening use. 40-Something BYOB Dinner @ Ivo & Lulu - Friday, April 25, 2008 - Greenwich Village
Bring a bottle of your favorite French wine and join your friends at Social Circles for a cozy French bistro dinner at Ivo & Lulu. It’s difficult not to become a regular at this dimly-lit sliver of a storefront restaurant. The owners (who cook, serve and bus) are sincere schmoozers who cultivate a dinner-party vibe in their narrow, art-lined dining room. Like perfect hosts, they make introductions between the closely-arranged tables, then politely excuse themselves to the cubbyhole kitchen to prepare your meal.
The seasonal menu is inventive, thoughtfully prepared and entirely organic--and nothing costs more than $10. Everything’s a hit on this seven-item international menu. There are blue cheese and honey-slathered roasted pears and a chunky pheasant terrine casserole, with a whiff of truffle oil under a baked brie crust. For main dishes, try gingery rabbit sausages with mustard or succulent, mango-glazed jerk duck leg confit. Order market-inspired specials: A recent riff on cassoulet yielded wild mushrooms, burstingly sweet beans and gamy merguez in an aromatic roux. So, bring your bottles and your appetites to Ivo & Lulu for a fantastic night of French food and fabulous company! This event was so popular in Janauary, we decided to bring it back sooner than later! Have a fun Friday night out with the 40-something’s at Social Circles!

This Scavenger Hunt is super creepy and will cost you $31 to be prepaid in advance...and worth every penny! Just remember to leave the light on for yourself at home!

Springtime Sights @ The Cloisters - Sunday, April 27, 2008 - Upper Manhattan

We’ll meet up at The Cloisters and view such works of art, including sculptures, tapestries, illuminated manuscripts, goldsmiths and silversmiths works, stained glass, enamels, ivories, and so much more. This is a must for any true New Yorker and a great day out for our group. We’ll bring bag lunches and sit down together surrounded by hundreds of years of history!
